"I first met Ahmed Zahid - or Zahid as he is known, through the Maldivian family I was staying with during my week long stay in Addu Atoll, earlier in the year. The family mentioned that Zahid was a keen photographer who never left his house without his camera and that I should meet him.
A few phone calls later, Zahid appeared at the door of the kitchen I was sitting in. Turns out, Zahid is a little bit more than just a photographer. In fact, Zahid is a well trained Graphic Designer and a veteran freelancer with a beautiful selection of graphic design work to his name. As for photography, well, Zahid knows how to take a photo.
Zahid's Flickr site is incredibly popular. And while Zahid wishes that his viewers would be more interested in pictures other than sunsets over the Maldives, Zahid doesn't mind showing the more picturesque side of the Maldives."

I've known Zahid for more than 11 or so years.. and he is where I got inspired in attempting graphic design! He is willing to share his knowledge readily if u r willing.
ReplyDeleteHis camera is an extention of himself and it never leaves his reach. Zahid is a very willing person, attempting anything and everything if its of interest. [whoever does boring stuff ;) ?]
I learnt a lot from him.
