Burning garbage in my backyard. Instead of dumping in the sea, people in this island burn whatever they could... and in the process, eliminate a few mosquitoes as well. Mosquitoes breed easily in tropical islands causing much discomfort to residents. It is common to see smoky fires like this during afternoons, when mosquito problem is at peak.
