Clock says 9.30. Brain says 5.30.
I have come halfway through the bulk of my current projects: 8 room house plan. Shop interior design. A friends website. And decorations for prize day event for the local school. As if these minor details in my life matter. The point is i have an important trip coming up, and these little details are whats holding me up.

ps. I have corrected a major typo error in flickr. It is now diary, not dairy as in cow liquid. Stupid me.

  2. Hi Ahmed
As long as you're fixing it, how about the apostrophe? -

I guess punctuation is becoming sort of irrelevant, but it would be more correct.
    Just a suggestion.

  3. Hi rt_charette

I was thinking much about punctuation too. And english grammer. And proper capital letters. But i keep thinking that the current english english is changing for a more international 'inglish'. Doubt there will be apostrophes at all in a few years time.

Thanks so much for the suggestion.
    My best wishes.

  4. 'inglish'. Yes. We say 'ingrish' because immigrants from Asia say 'l' for 'r' and vice-versa.
I understand your point, but the apostrophe, like other punctuation, has a function, it's not just a decoration. I don't think it will disappear. There are many things which have fallen by the wayside in our times, punctuation is the least of it. But just as there will continue to be people (in diminishing numbers) who know what honour and dignity and justice (etc) mean, there will continue to be people who know the difference between correct English and slap-happy or ignorant language. And they are likely to think you don't use the ' because you don't know how. Whether you care what they think - that is up to you.
I love your photos, Ahmed. That's why I'm doing this, to give something back, not just because I'm a cranky old fart. Best wishes.
