Mango season has arrived

It is not official. But i was delighted to find new blooms this morning. All over the island. Though not one of the most photogenic fruits in the island, it is my all time favorite. For its taste. And of the islanders. And the bats, which i can see the anticipation even now, by the tipsy way they are flying. An average tree is said to yield some three to five thousand, in any one of the two seasons in an year. This island has many trees.
