Issues at hand: Alidhoo Island.

I will not cry...or feel pity over the direct results of elected, intelligent and responsible people, in whose hands lie, the decisions that will affect my children.

Alidhoo Island, above... in its pristine state, back in 2004.

There was a frantic rush among the business community in Maldives, to see who could come out with the most... genial idea for development, pump in money for rent, source investors, contract out the cheapest labor, market as if it was Viagra(!) and sell it from glossy brochures to some misinformed tourist halfway around the World.

Oh, and in the process, the Island ended up as a Sri Lankan owned property.

Today: No wonder guests arriving here, do nothing all day... but complain.
Cause: Environmental destruction.

I will somehow try, and get used to it.
