Last days of Maakandoodhoo Island. Now evacuated.

From Far North, taken back in October 2001, during the transitional phase.
The people of this island were transfered to the neighbouring Milandhoo and Funadhoo Islands, by the Government, under the safe Islands programme.

One of the first of a series of evacuations currently under way.
